We'll see a few new things arriving soon after the show or during.
1. Avet's new Star Drag reels will be produced beginning this month. These will be based upon MX series frame size, MXJ, MXL.
2. Okuma replaces the Andros Series of reels with a new name, Alijos Series single and two speeds.
3. Okuma introduces a new Limited Edition series, tri-color, blue/silver. They'll come in a little higher than the regular SEA series reels.

Great Stuff!

And of course there's United Composties Reaper, a new 40# 9' blank that's been getting some attention. This model incorporates the new carbon material which is also used on the RGP series rods. The rod features a fairly light tip, with the addition of the new carbon thru the mid-section down to the butt for greater strength and leverage. Very good casting blank, excellent action. Better than the Monster? That's a tough act to follow, but the GP seems to have more pulling power, a tad heavier. It's a surface iron blank, that's the intent. Where the Monster can cover bait and surface iron work quite well, more versatile verses more focused application. The new blanks run $219, we have them in stock, but will likely sell out before day's end. We have ordered more....

Great Stuff!
