Report from the RR III.
Bob Cherry just called and said they had an awesome 10 day trip on the RR III. He also stated, Bob fishes three or four multi day trips per year, that the hot stick at the rocks used Blackwater 40# flurocarbon and outfished everyone on the rail for yellow fin tuna. More good results on a new comer to the flurocarbon ranks. SDTuna - |

Captain |
Thanks for the good report on Blackwater Fluro. I just dropped several dollars on some to "try" in January.

I have great success with Blackwater flouro 25-60#. Now there is 80-200# for the cows.
A spool of 50# - 50 meters gives me 5 top shots (30') comes out to about $7 per top shot. It is worth the $ for catching a lot of fish. This stuff is the best. |

They only go up to 130, but are planning some heavier leader down the road.
