YO FELLAS, finally got back from a 2 1/2 dayer, i must say the torque 200 is the reel of choice.

i was able to cast (with wind in face) way out there with no back lash.

and i really mean way out there.

i tyied a # 2 blue/white ironman and spent the day using it. fishing was not all that great, but really enjoyed the reel.

Sorry to hear the fishing wasn't awesome. The reel must be great to impress you, Dodoman...

no sweat about the trip, plenty more to ride on.

we were about 40 miles from the back side of clemente, when i casted that jig, i could of sworn it hit the seal resting on the beach (clemente). lol

Louie - did you get to pull on any yellow with that reel?

Good looking set up - what stick do you have it matched with?

honestly to say, I SKUNKED THE WHOLE WAY. 35 people on a 2 1/2 dayer , only brought in about 20 albies and maybe 5 yellows. 1/2 the boat did not catch any thing at all.

I HAVE THE REEL ON A 800H- CUT 6IN OFF THE TIP.
