I was wondering if anyone has these two reels and what amount of 40# and 50# spectra can be put on with a 50' top shot of 30# and 40#,

after looking at those reels I would be curious as to why ? what purpose do these really narrow reels serve ?

When trying to figure out how much any reel holds, I use the line calculator on Accurate's website. It's really handy

If you compare the line calculator to accurate specs there is a some difference on the 870n on 50# spectra.

I canuse about250yards and that's enough. The rest is ju8st storage line.
