Here's a pretty nifty new product one of our clients/suppliers has created. The gentleman's company produces a lot of things, with absolutely no application to fishing. However, he likes to fish long range and as a result has come up with some very interesting products which we stock. The newest creating is the line winder shown. Nice motor, nice reel brace, good torque for dealing with heavier braided lines. First production is on the aluminum base as pictured. In the future he will use a wood base. Price will be right at $800, including everything needed as pictured plus a very trick de=spooler device. Great Stuff! Mark ![]()

Here's the de-spooler. The piece can be used with the winder or as a stand-alone piece used with a power drill. Pretty wide range of appropriate reel sizes work on this winder. Sufficient power to work with braids well, even heavier 130# lines can be loaded tightly under adequate pressure. The winder is pretty flexible enough to fit most reels and lines. The piece is no Omega or Triangle HD 140, but in comparison to other winders we've worked with, this one is pretty darn good and it's priced fairly at about $800. The HD runs more like $2500 and the Omega, well lets not go there. Compared to the Sato, this one runs about double the money, but there's no drill to buy. Both will get the job done, this one may be executed a bit better. Expect to do a fair amount of messing around adjusting the piece both with line and reel. But, once dialed in the darn thing works quite well and seems a very good value. Great Stuff! Mark ![]()
