Hi all
I want to target some yellotails at Catalina this weekend. What would be a good setup for trolling tacklewise, LB line, size hooks ect, speed. Also I'll go for Calicos as well. Any infor would be appreciated

Soakin,

Are you going on a private boat or a charter? If private Rapala CD-14's, Xrap-15's are a good choice. Also slow trolled dines or macks can be deadly. Private boats can troll 40-50lb line fine. Hook size will depend on the size of your bait but 1/0-3/0 should work.

Fish the calicos around the kelp and or rocks.
