I've got a Daiwa Sealine-X 40HA with reel clamp screws p/n 6f187601 that are shorter than my Daiwa Saltiga 50G reel clamp screws p/n 63641101. These are both stainless steel carriage type screws, which is probably obvious for somebody that knows what im talking about, but I just wanna be clear. So, I'm wondering if there is another Daiwa model that I can possibly get even longer reel clamp screws from, or if Daiwa has longer reel clamp screws available for the Saltiga 50G.

***update***
I used the Sealine-X reel clamp on the Saltiga and it fits way better than the Saltiga's reel clamp. It doesn't look as nice, but that doesn't matter so much. I'd still like the longer screws if anyone has a part number.

No, but without meaning to be a jerk, have you tried the hardware store? McMaster-Carr for example. Sometimes things are easier that way.

Yeah, our local hardware shops don't have small or even large stainless steel carriage bolts. I'm in Temecula.

All right... Well, www.mcmaster.com then. They got plenty. No metric though, but that doesn't matter if you buy the nuts too.

Ya know, it seems funny to get all excited about a hardware website, but all I have to say is WOW! I was very impressed with the search function on the website. They definately seem to have it all. Thanks for the link. Living in the metro area definately has its advantages.

"funny to get all excited about a hardware website..."

Darn right it is; that place is a gas! Yikes they got great stuff. In that case you'd go bananas over this place by my house that sells nothing BUT wierd nuts 'n' bolts. I'm there weekly.

Well, anyway... guess that fixed the Daiwa dilemma.

PS: McMaster shipping is like, instantaneous.
