Hi all
I'm planning a trip from the 29th of May to the 1st of June to Catalina. Now I,m not looking to get anyones secrect place. I was looking for some general info. Has any yellowtails shown up at catalina? If so would throwing iron or bait fishing be the method of chioce. Any advice would be appreciated. Also front or backside of the island which would be better? I went over a couple of weeks ago for white seabass with no love but the squid in the bait motel spawned so someone had a good time. Thanks in advance

west end ,oh just go to San Clemente and pop up here and there, The Navy is busy and that is a better fishing spot anyway. Milky green water and alot of boats pissed at each other is the only alternative. I don't think that catalina is going to be your wide open day then, but let's hope that I am wrong again.

Thanks for the info
Unfortunatily my boat does not have the range for Clemente. I gues I'll just have to be in the mix at Catalina
