What is the best way to pack iron for commercial flights. I want to take about 10-20 jigs down to Cabo...

You won't be able to carry them on with you; you'll need to check them. Hooks in the cabin are a no no.

When I fly with jigs to Oman I simply remove the assist hooks (which go in the checked luggage) and carry on the jigs in a Shout! jig bag. It saves a load of weight for my checked luggage and I have never had an issue on any flight doing this.
