Santa put a Braid Blackjack in my stocking. If I were going to fish this on a 5 day trip for YFT, Dorado and Yellowtail, how would you rig it? Also, would running it on a wire trolling rig reduce its effectiveness? My thought was you never know when a skinny will show up.

On a five day I'd doubt wahoo are going to be on the menu, and the lure is best for schoolie tuna. So, I'd rig it via a snap or tie, with a swivel 3' or so up the line in case of twisting. Tie it on with 80# mono and you should be fine. Going multi strand wire/cable will decrease the diameter, offer a bit less resistance, but be more visible. There's a trade off, but that also would work. I'd go with something like 135-170# cable. We offer a harness rig for that application from Braid.
