I just learned how to tie a turks head and want to attach one to my jig stick. Im curious how it can be attached and is it easy enough that i can do it with no rod building experience?

tie it around the blank or with a hollow center. tuck everything in and epoxy it to the blank. a coat of thin flex coat will help keep it in place. Look at the Seekers for more clues.

Is it possible to attach one to a rod that is already finished.

Should i treat the knot with something or just leave it alone. Also what type of rope material should i use....i really hope you all can help me.
