Is it logical to assume that a Gulf of Mexico Wahoo will be enticed by the same baits (artificial and natural) as a West Coast Wahoo? What kind of artificials have you had the best luck with when fishing for these critters?

Bait:
Well it is what you have but I would use a wire leader.

No not me. The boats got into a WFO bite on dod's about a month ago. Anything went in was bit.
