Removable weights for swordfish

I've been trying to see how weights worked with some of the swordfish videos on You Tube.

Looked like initially guys were using homemade cement stuff 15 lbs.

But I guess they got tired of making and losing them (used a breakaway system).

Now they are using 10 lb cylinders. They get their bait out to a 100 feet then attach the lead. And they take it off when landing the fish.

No pics of how the weight is quickly attached or removed. Somesort of snap swivel between the main line and the 100 foot leader? How would they wind on the swivel ? Or is it some sort of loop.

A long line clip or they serve a loop on the main line of rigging floss to attach the weight at the preferred length. You can just reel on the floss and continue the fight. Here's a picture to get you excited.
