Hi Steve, I've got a question for you. I've got a question about the TRQ LD 2 speeds - Great Reels!!! The things have GREAT freespool. I've noticed that when you tilt the reel over on its side (smooth side down) the freespool goes on forever. When you reverse that and have crank side down the freespool is significantly reduced. Is that a matter of Penn being a bit too proud of their grease or is there a mechanical reason for the difference in freespool???

Hmmm, I don't know; since I'm a "righty", I have never experienced that effect.
I will try to find out from the engineers.
