Really looking forward to the ICAST Show in Orlando this week; kind of like the FHS on mega-steroids [even the same owners as FHS].
Essentially every fishing tackle company in the world, showing everything they make, including 2013 items.
I'll be keeping my eye out for Mark; no doubt he will have a nose for the most interesting stuff!

Caught up with Steve today at ICAST. BIG SHOW! A bit different flavor here in Florida verses Las Vegas, sure bet it's not as hot and while it's a bit more humid the weather is still darn nice. But, that's not why we're here...
Here are the new Penn Spinfishers, all with water tight design, sealed drags, and even some with Live Liner function.

Going beyond the spinners, Penn also will be rounding out the popular Squall series of reels - YES THERE WILL BE A 25N in the line-up!

For the old school sharkers and bluefin...THE 117 is coming back - USA made, too!

And we have a new model Torque coming...25N size!!!

Of course you've been wondering about the two speed option... Well that's going to happen as well, but not until 2013 for the Torque line. At that point we'll have two versions, single and two speed with the 2 speeds running $500 to $600.

What about other products? Well, Steve Carson started this thread so it wouldn't be nice of me to stick other things up here. But, I'd say Penn had a very good showing again this year. Other manufacturers also had some nice gear to present, and I'll get to them as well...

Mark was working very hard; and YES it is humid here.
No doubt he will start a new thread soon to show all the other interesting things he found- and this was just the first day!
BTW; the Penn Spinfisher SSV's just won the "Best New Saltwater Reel" award here at ICAST.
