One show special cancelled, others will be offered. My wife Nadiya was scheduled to deliver our baby during the show (now that's some kind of show special isn't it?). She changed her mind, or shall I say the baby changed his mind. Yesterday we met the new Charkster at about 2 in the afternoon. We will no doubt post more later today.

But, back to the show...of course we'll have some very interesting things. We'll be hard to find as always, but worth visiting.

Mark, you mean like first name or second name? Maybe that wasn't a good idea, Nadiya was a bit groggy come to think of it, I thought she nodded in the afirmative....
Ah, see you later I'm going back to the horsepital.

Great Stuff!

Yep, baby was delivered at the horsepital by our family vet. What else you expect Mark, we're talking about Charks here! If I could have, we would have been at the LB Aquarium. In any event, insurance being what it is for a self employed guy, costs, etc. It's much more financially prudent to make use of those new fangled Pet Insurance programs. They're still expensive, but at least I can meet the payments!

Mark,

Congratulations are the first things that comes to my mind, I know I saw you at work but I didn’t know the right thing to say. What a day before Valentines present did you and Nadiy received. A true blessing to Nadiy, Mark and their family my best wishes for all.

Thank you for letting me be apart of Charkbait a small part but non the less a part.

When do the kids need to go fishing?

Sorry, I didn't say, but the little tyke is a BOY! Very convenient. I was afraid we'd loose closet space should he have turned out to be a girl. That's exactly where she'd have gone in about 14 years time...

Nadiya should be released from the hospital today, and hopefully the little guy too. He was early and isn't very big, but he makes up for that by being darn cute.

A happy dad,
Mark

That's great, Mark. Amazing, ain't it--Mother Nature, I mean. Perhaps, soon enough, you'll be fishing more than ever!

I'll risk making two recommendations.

First, sleep as much as possible, take naps when possible if tired, and eat healthy food. I tried to maintain my pre-kid schedule (80+ hour work weeks) post-kid, became run down after 9 months, and got two bad bloody pneumonias that lasted 6 weeks, and a week-long GI bleed. There will be time for you to ramp-back to full speed once you get settled in. So, my advise now, is basically relax and enjoy for awhile!

Second, if you use an audio baby-listening device in the baby's room, *turn down the volume*! I had the volume jacked up and couldn't sleep a wink for several nights in a row, till I received the same advise I just gave. Sounded like a rhino was in the room with the kid--or even an entire collection of jungle animals--when I had the volume jacked-up. Then, the first time that the baby slept through the night, I couldn't sleep a wink--afraid something was wrong! Those listening devices are a mixed blessing...

Looks like a keeper....but don't bonk him!
Congradulations to you and the new mom.

Were just starting with lambing or I'd have offered our services at far cheaper than the Vet.
