The water turned over and the cows are on the chew. They're bangin them out to 324-327 with 3 in the last 2 days at 299. Oooohhhhh so close. The 2 300 pounders are on the SAME boat. 1 day apart. It's tough enough to pop a 300 in a season, but 2 of them 1 day apart is awesome.

I am on the Royal Star and Ollie Bear is on the American Angler Dec. 26th. Anyone else here going that day as well?

Merry Christmas to you all.

Olliebear and Picsticker, I'm the virgin they're talking about. I'm booked on the American Angler leaving the morning of 12/26.

I'm flying in late Christmas night and have a room booked at the Comfort Inn.

I've been reading all the reports from the AA and the Royal Star and to say I'm stoked is an understatement.

Look forward to meeting you guys there on 12/26.

Tom, yup on chasing the piggies. Many years ago when I'd go fishing I used to alway's tell my friends that I was going to catch a hog and so the name.
Look forward to meeting you. I'm really looking forward to this trip and hopefully a chance at a big tuna.

I've caught lots of large halibut and salmon but this is my next adventure.

I'll email you today.

Mike, look forward to talking with you and yup I think I'm already ruined and I haven't even caught one yet.

I've caught some very large Butt's out of Dutch Harbor Alaska where I lived for 2 years. There is NOTHING.....NOTHING, like having a monster huge TUNA, pin yer happy a&* to the rail and bring ya to your knees.
Trust me on this....bring skating knee pads!

I just bought a pair of really comfy Monica Lewinsky knee pads by Croc. You're going to be glad you did when you're on ya knees on that rough deck doing the rail...

I've started packing my bags...and checking it twice..and still remember the old tip of taking a bunch of old t-shirts so that I wear them and toss them in the trash.....That way I have less clothing to drag off the boat when it returns.

Got the kidney belt, got the thigh plate with the drop and reel straps, got a tool box for extra line spools, extra wind on leaders, tools, pliers, crimpers, drag scales, grease.

Got a picture of Beth in her black socks for luck. She's the mojo! Big Grin

So hoghunter. Wanna join us for breakfast on the morning of departure?

The duffle bag, clothes, reels, Rods, everything is there....cept me.

Anyone going out that day, try to meet up with Ollie, Myself and " VIRGIN MAN " Hogghunter fer fewd and laff's. Oh and lot's O lies.
