Just wondering does charkbait carry the newer style newell 540 5.5 whice comes with the fancy writing on the bars rather than that box style type? Also i heard the screws are diff from the earlier style s series reels.I was planning on converting an s540 to a p but was worried about the size of the newer style screws.Anybody know?

The new reels are using phillip head screws instead of the slotted machine screws.

You really can't convert a 500 series reel with the white lettering into a P series. The P series uses logos that are inset in the side plates.
