Yep, we're running a few more trips this year. In the spring we'll do a 3 day'r to San Clemente Island. Then in July a 3 day tuna trip. In September we're back on the Red Rooster for our 4 day Guadalupe trip. To cap things off we'll again have our 10 day in early November. Each trip looks like fun. And, the new additions add some nice variety. All great boats to fish from, well respected crews...and food.

Chark. Have ya ever thought of doing a 10 dayer later, say in the March, April time frame??

I would love to do a 10 dayer with the Chark crew, but, since I only work twice a year, and one being Sept. Thru Dec. as a Deer hunting Guide, I unfortunately can never do the Novemeber trips. BUT! I can sure get away to do a summer trip with y'all.

3-4 days of abuse from the Charksters in person????? Ahhhhh paradise.

How about a 15+ day trip? 10 days is far too short.

"3-4 days of abuse from the Charksters in person"
As long as you don't have several Wahoo on Mark is easy to fish with

15 dayer?????????

Wuuhhhhhhhh! I'm in. I prefer the 15-21 day trips. In fact, my Wife-zilla is about to close an estate ( Her Uncle ) that will put mucho El Coin-o in the purse-o and Me? I am trying to convince her how awesome she would be to stuff me onto the big 17 day accurate charter on the RP next year.

Women really are masters at that " Yer a jackass " look! But, this Girl will forge ahead. heh heh heh heh

Timing is everything. Spring 10 day trips have their place, but there's a weather risk that can make things a bit uncomfortable. The wahoo fishing can be dandy though, and at times the tuna cooperate well. I've thought about doing a 10 day'r in early March...but the Fred Hall show keeps getting in the way!

As far as a longer trip, it would be great, and no doubt that can open up some opportunities at the larger grade tuna that don't always come our way on a 10 day'r. But, the variety of fishing you do on a 10 day trip is an attraction. Frankly, I'd rather have the chance to catch a few different things than be 100% focused on big tuna. That's just me personally. Give me 2 days for tuna, a couple for 'hoo, some dodo and yellowtail, and I'm happy with a trip. From a practical standpoint, there's no way I can personally hop a boat and be out of pocket for 16 days at this point with the business...and wife-ski. So, I'm happy/lucky to have the chance to do a 10 day'r. Yep, very happy!

thanks, i was looking at the wrong schedule ( royal polaris ).

i like the r/p, i might stick with the clemente 3 dayer.

i notice that the shogun 3 dayer is 460.00 for 30 people, and the r/p 3 dayer is 930.00 for 35 people.

whats with that.hhhhhhhhhmmm. five extra people for 470.00

Yer right about that Chark. Jesss bein self centered.

I love hooking hoo's and Dodo's as well as Tuna.

Plus, with the Wife-ski and Baby Chark on the way, ya aint gonna want to be to far from the house.

I'll make one of these trips.

Louie, the boats charges are based upon the time of year, fuel consumption, supply and demand. We don't have control of those facts of life. Frank LoPreste figures the rates, not us. But, when things are put in context, looking at costs of 1 1/5 day'rs...he's in line. No doubt, I'd rather ride the RP for 3 days than the smaller boats even with 30+ anglers there's more room at the rail and stern and a bit more time to find the bite. The SHogun in spring is a very good value. There's less runn'n and gunn'n involved and a shorter run to the island. So, fuel won't be the big cost factor, and it's a slower time of year with less guys fishing. Call it a teaser rate.

Pigsticker, hope to fish with you on one of the trips. You too Louie if you can escape the Inland Empire for a few days time.
