Here is the skinny on hours and hours of research on 6 years worth of fishing reports for the entire Long Range fleet.

The absolute best reports for the month of January for the last 6 years is from the 7th-23rd on average.

The absolute best trip on the " Cow Pasture " was the Roal Star " fly down/back trip in 06.
This trip gives you about 9 full days of fishing with your first day on the boat being fishing...

The Star put the smack down on the Tuna in the Pasture as they actually had 6-7 days on the grounds by coming out of Cabo.

However. That type of trip incur's alot of additional fees. Airfare, Parking, meals, hotels, etc.

A bunch of us could all meet in S.D. and share rooms and car pool together.

A regular S.D. based trip ya have MAYBE 4 days tops.

So, we'll need to decide on a Boat, and the dates.



The new moon? The bait will come to the boat when the lights are hung over the side quite well.

So, we either do a 12 dayer out of S.D. or we can fly down/back. Over all it is cheaper for all involved to ride there and back.

But, after doing research on the last 6 years, it is clear when we need to go. So, whadda ya think? Is everybody game?

We have 3 now, 1 possible and some maybe's.
Oh and those Jan trips knocked the piss out of the Cows.
