Hi all, The new board is great Chark! The following quote is from this week's Puerto Penasco report on Mexfish: ""We drifted over the bait schools and it was a blast hooking big sierras with a 10-pound spinning outfit and a small spoon," Davis said, also noting that U.S. Customs officers at the border were enforcing a 50-pound limit on fish brought into the U.S." I have never heard that there is a weight limit on the amount of fish that can be brought back to the US. I leave for Punta Colorada in 15 days. We plan on releasing most our fish as usual but still want to bring some home. I don't find anything regarding this on the US Customs site. Anybody have more info?

I've never heard of such, and no one that I know of has either. There's got to be something else going on there... Great Stuff! Mark

Probably just a guise to be able to inspect supposed fish. Maybe that is a new way the illegal stuff is getting smuggled into the states. I don't know, just a theory.
