I pass by all the local tackle shops and buy a few things. However, after all is said and done, it's pretty tough to beat Chark's deals. Got burnt on a couple of ebay deals - never again. Thank you much. We've got a need to bring in a couple guys. Jeff has been a key player here for many years. He joined us when he was a pup, 16 years old. Now after many years he is teaming up with his brother in one of their family businesses. I'm sure it will be a great opportunity for him, and he will be sorely missed here. He's learned so much, and has been so much help to everyone here - and he's a great guy to work with.
Beta joined us a few months ago, and now will be full time here. He's an avid private boater and a fellow I've known for about 10 years or so. A very good addition to our staff and a great resource for folks fishing our local waters. But, we still need another quality player here to help us keep up with things and probably share the same needs down at our SD shop. So, yes we are expanding but we also have some big shoes to fill with Jeff's departure.

Kindly, Jeff has told us he'll be happy to come back...and fish our charters!
(We had a bit of a going away for Jeff yesterday -Memorial Day- at my home. A few brain cells were damaged, but we're all here today working away. The high point yesterday was Jeff arriving, arranged with Paul here, a bit late. That gave all of us a chance to change shirts - we had some made up with Jeff's picture on the front. So, poor Jeff had to look at eight of us wearing his mug on shirts. Wonderful time, just wish I'd taken a picture. Got so distracted laughing and eating that I forgot to break out the camera. You should have been there...)

Jeff is a great guy and I was fortunate enough to see him when I came in last week and bought some new gear. I hope all works well for him in his new endeavor.

I will be heading out to San Clemente Wednesday night fishing Thursday. Maybe I will be lucky enough to catch something worthy to test my new Saltist 20 I just picked up from you guys.
