We at CharkBait wish you all a wonderful holiday season and bright hopes for 2007! The new year also has some significance for us, it's our 10th aniversary! Amazing! We've survived 10 years!!!

Thank you for your contributions to our enterprise, and for your posts on the CharkBoard. Thank you for trusting us and giving us a chance to serve your tackle needs. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences.

I also would like to take a moment to thank Beth, Tom, the Rube, Mike, Matt, Big Jeff, Little Jeff and Ross for putting up with me and for all the hard work you've done to help make CharkBait a successful venture. Our success is based upon treating our clients with respect and providing solid customer service. You folks recognize that responsibility, and remind me of it every day I work with you. Thanks guys...and gal.

For 2007 we'll be making a couple changes behind the scenes here. We're updating our operation, software side of things. The webite won't change, but the way we handle orders will evolve. We'll improve client communication, order processing and fulfillment. We'll go to a scanning system in the retail shop, and tighten up the way inventory is handled. Many of the things we'll be enhancing will be unseen, but they'll help us improve operations here and perhaps set the stage for some expansion. We added three new employees in 2006 and we're happy to announce that Mike will be going fulltime with us in January. He's been attending college, and graduated this month. His responsibilities will be growing. Mike's been part of the team for almost 3 years now.

Again, thank you for your support of this enterprise. You've helped us grow from a one-man operation to a real business with nine people on the payroll. Thank you, best wishes to you, and have a great new year!

Merry Christmas all! My wife and I made a Charkbait trip last Sunday, got to meet some of the crew and pick up a 2 speed LX. Nice operation you got there and a helpful bunch too! I am wishing for a El Nino from Santa!
