Hello all. I have a question for you all. I am looking at the Ramada across the street from the Landing and since I have never stayed there...I am looking for you input.

For all of you whom have stayed in San Diego for your fishing trips, please throw me you idea's and feedback of the best Hotle's near the Landing and the worst.

I am flying in Dec. 4th and will be shacked up for 2 days and don't relish the thought of a crummied up stay.

Thank all.
Tom in Missouri.

I stay at the Ramada Inn accross from the landing. In Dec 2009, I stayed 2 nights for a total of $134.98. Usually I request one of the 2 rooms on the ground floor facing the landing. Since 2004, I have stayed there 8 times.

Hey, thanks Guys for you insightful advice on the Hotel's.

SDTUNA. You big lug. What happened to you on my facebook page? Did we get a divirce that I was unaware of?

Anyway. I spent 2 nights in the Dolphin my last trip.....not bad, not good. VERY AFFORDABLE! woo hoooo....However, with all my gear in the room, there was no room to move.
No fridge, no coffee maker.

OH MY GOD! I'M A PRINCESS?? Listen to my pampered ass whine.

Sorry.

Is that the Ramada behind the Royal Star's fish processing display?

Yes. Fisherman's processing is owned by Tim, Randy and Lopreste. NO BUENO WITH ME.

Well. My last trip ever on the Star, I had to bust a Man in the mouth!

This MORON was a HIGH dollar customer of the Star's, the kind that all the boat's like and the kind that the crew's ALWAYS let run stupid.

This MORON was litterally staggering drunk, walked up behind me, said, I'm going to break your arm " upon saying that, he snatched my arm upo and began to try.

Unfortunately for him, he unleashed hell on earth. He never knew what hit him, and the crew about crapped their pants.

I was the Super Heavy weight full contact Martial Art's champion in SO. CA 1990 and never forgot my training.

So, I have NO RESPECT for the Star and her entire crew. They acted like I was out of line.

I caught my largest Tuna to date and not even a Good going.

The crew was fawning all over the drunk and his son's when we returned, because he was throwing 100 dollar bill's around like gumballs.

In my humble opinion, the Star's crew, WHORED THEMSELVES out for money while jeopordizing the rest of the passenger's.

Tim and Randy are some of the Best Capt's. the fleet has ever seen. They were NOT onboard and it showed in the crap behavior of the crew.

Most of that crew is still onboard.

I now fish the Intrepid exclusively. No games. No screwing around aloud. They shut down the customer's drinking before they get out of hand.
