Thanks for the kind words. Nadiya is doing great, and the little one is adjusting to less comfortable surroundings (but hey, it was his idea to come early!). Sleepless nights short term, but maybe we'll be on a more regular schedule by the Fred Hall Show (hope).

My wife came to me with one son Sergey, whom I am quite proud to call mine. He's 11, and will be a wonderful big brother. The new'un is named Mikhial Markham Smith. Had to have one part Russian (Mikhial=Michael), the rest of the name is mine with English roots. So, the new guy might become a "Mike" for school purposes, and Misha as the endered family form. While I liked Gorbachev, the little one's not named after him (his grand dad would not approve...). His first name is in reference/respect to my wife's cousin who passed away tragically several years ago.

That's the tale, so far.

In a world of chaios and hate one only has to look into the eyes of a child to see love and order.

Get a rod in his hands.

All the best

Mark,

First of all, let me say congratulations on the little one! I'm very happy for you, Nadiya and Sergey. What a nice addition to the family, and he came almost a month early too - my guess is he just wanted less time in the womb and more time on the water! I'm sure you'll be a terrific father as you already are with Sergey. Congratulations again, and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Fred Hall Show!

(P.S. I must admit that I like the choice of name Smiler)
