Second that! Got me out putting line on my reels - nothing like yellowtail to get the blood pumping. Lets see 40lb surface jig stick - 40 lb yoyo stick - 20lb chovy setup - 30lb dine setup - floro etc etc etc! Cool

I hope that will work, like real estate, "build and they will come", so does "Spooling on 40lb. and the big yellows will come" work? Ha Ha Let's use our positive vibes and make damn sure to have a Great opening trip!! Remember, "the last trip sucked" is kind of a good thing to hear, .........keep telling yourself that.

Roger that. The guys from the HB shop and I took the Dreamer out last Monday. Hit Catalina and San Clemente, for no white seabass...well maybe I had a shot on one but busted off...too aggressive - call that buck feaver. So, everyone here is chomping at the bit. After that trip I was down at our San Diego shop for the rest of the week, and there clients were definately getting pumped up about the yellowtail moving in. Water temps are still a bit down, and there were anchovies in the receivers up here - all indicating a cooler water year. Great for bait, and hopefully that draws in more good fish!

Great Stuff!
