Hi guys. I'm new to the forum, and a new customer as well. I just ordered a few Avets, to ship to NY. 16 days have passed, 12 working days; and still no reels. I was emailed that Avet was experiencing a problem with their laser etching machine and would take a 2-3 week wait before they ship them out, because they are out of stock. Any updates guys? Is avet fixing the problem? I need to go fishing soon!

Please give Avet some time to get their details worked out. They are an awesome, awesome Company and you'll be very pleased with them in the long run.

To give you some info. I spent 2 solid years, researching tackle from around the world, and doing price comaparisons to Charkbait. He has no equal.

I live in Missouri and buy ALL my tackle from the Chark. I also drive to San Diego for my fishing trips so I can go in and see them all.

Sorry I missed this one earlier. The laser failure has indeed been fixed and hopefully your order is well on its way to you. This was not a planned event, big problem, but the folks from Avet did their best to get things fixed and the down time was not as long as originally thought. If your reel is not now in your hands PLEASE send me an email, my link is at the bottom of each page of our website, and I'll personally do the tracking.

Welcome to the forum. Have you recieved the reels you ordered. I fish Avets on long range trips out of San Diego and haven't failed me yet.

Must have been long time covered, never heard back...

The service at Charkbait is so good that any delay sticks out like a sore thumb. Was it a color issue? I had to have one in purple (Avet) and had to be a little patient to get exactly the reel I wanted.
