Hoggem'n can't make the LR trip and he was thinking that I wouldn't have a tackle box to pilfer if he wasn't there so he packaged up the things I usually take out of his boxes and shipped them to me in KF, a 5 hr drive at worse.
Well......It's Wednesday and my package is still in Medford, "Oh, we got it but we forgot to put it on the truck to KF". This is unacceptable! The USPO only takes 2 days to deliver a package from Portland to KF! I leave on Thursday for a 200 mile drive through cold and snow and another 700 miles fighting California drivers, I've been moving snow and getting things ready for lambing, I wounder how the timing for this years lambing season worked out so I can get away for a few weeks this winter.

The wonderful wife was on my ass for weeks to get the ram in with the ewes but I kept "forgetting". I fell down on the Ice several times in the last few days and my back and worse leg are hurting me and I'm in no mood for hearing "we got it but we forgot to put it on the truck" from some ass that doesn't really care. I guess the crew at Charkbait have me spoiled and expecting the same quality service I've come to expect from them, thanks to all of you for putting the extra effort.
Oh well, I guess Charkbait has what I need, if my arrival timing is right and they are open. The shop is only a few miles off of I405 (even this country boy can even find it) and I wanted to say hi to Mark and his slaves.

The boat casts off EARLY, 08:00, Saturday, 4 more days! So far this morning (05:20) in KF it's 5 degrees and headed lower before sun comes up, I wonder if it's warmer at Hurricane Bank, and points south?

To be fair I have to post this, the local driver on his own drove over and got my package and delivered it first thing this morning. Although DHL dropped the ball their peons came through and my care package came through before I left. Now a quick trip to Charkbait for a few last minute items, if the timing works out, and I'm ready to fish.

I personally have never had good results with DHL. I prefer FedEx than UPS.

USPO generaly works for me but the FedX and UPS are usualy good too. This is the first real issue I've had with DHL too.
