Well, it is officially being reported from the Royal Star's own website. Brian Sims has returned to the Royal Star now as a percentage owner, leaving the Q-105

This Man can flat put some fish on the boat. His personality, sense of humor and ability to deal with clients is second to none.

I was blessed to have been taken under his wing, personally, on my first ever long range trip, Jan. of 1998. Fly down/Back. I rode the boat there and back for 16 days.

I had come from the Ocean towing industry, having towed rigs from Ventura to the international date line of the Bering Sea. The rest was going to be great.

On that voyage, these were my very own, personal tutors.
Briam Sims, Markus Medak and Bruce Smith. I came away a scholar. 3 days of one on one tutoring. The rest of the clients who boarded in Cabo were very jealous.

I am very happy to see Briam come back as my last trip on the Star, Brett allowed the crew and some passengers to act like $#^&!

I have taken my business elsewhere for that reason.

Welcome back to you Brian and may your successes continue.

It is good to see Gerbie back on the Star. Q is a great platform, but it is just not being maintained as well as some of the other boats. Brian finally gets his equity portion that he has been looking for and Tima nd Randy get some additional time off knowing that the boat is well taken care of. Sounds like a win win for them. On the other side, how many captains has the Q has in the last 10 years? Klein cannot sell fora couple of reasons, but it sure would be nice to see the Q redone.

I am glad he is back, however, after what happened to me on my last trip and the inability of the crew ( Capt. ) to get a handle on the behavior, I will be moving my business to the Intrepid.

I will certainly miss fishing with Brian Cook and Joey Conrad. They are the 2 best in the business, in their positions.
