Pigster , get well quick or we will be overrun with Deer and Cow Yellowfin . I almost fell off my top rung at 20' hunting Fort Dix . Talk about scared Sh@tless ! The harness won't help when climbing in/out .I started using two lines fed through a Screw ring . One for me when I climb and the other for my stuff . It's a bit of a pain it worked for me .

No worries Adate D. It did however come accross wrong.

My friends FORCED me to the stupid hospital. Hell, I heard the leg snap, so I need some white coat to tell me for $500.00 it's broken?

It was.

I use the HUnter Safety system now which is a harness that attaches at ground level and it slid up with you as you go. At any time if you fall, yer just suspended in mid air.

My associates are all hunting and all the folks around the counrty side here where I live in Missouri are all out sighting in their guns for this weekends Deer seaon opener.

BLAH! I have 4 acres, deer right out the back darn door and no way to get the critter up the hill if I pop one. It's like going to a Strip joint with a fist full of Hundred dollar bills and not one dancer will talk to you.

A totally deflating feeling.

Olliebear knows that feeling. Like when his hand falls asleep on him.
hahahahahahahahahahahha

Contact the Captain: Brad Phillips (949) 498-6149

A friend of the fleet - Under no circumstances is any behavior represented by smokeybear acceptable. I would suggest that smokeybear contacts Bradley Phillips directly and discuss the situation.

I have had awesome trips on the First String in the past and never saw evidence of this type of behavior. Granted times and people change but the San Diego fleet is one of exceptional pride and represents the best on the California coast in this man's opinion.

If after discussing the issue with Bradley and you are not satisfied then by all means go directly to H&M landing and make your voice heard. Also SAC may be a source of discussion.

Unacceptable behavior is just that no matter where or when. Let me know how it turns out.

Been fishing on the First String, going on 11 years. I have never witnessed any mistreatment of women passengers. Actually, we usually laughed about the special treatment that women received from the crew. I always thought the skip and crew were absolutely top notch! I will continue to fish and recommend the First String.
Looking forward to our next trip.
