i heard rumors that lupe is closed this year, i've also heard that it is not closed but in fact quite a few boats did not get there permits in time, also heard that a few boats are still advertising lupe trips but do not have the permits to go there, i confirmed that my 5.5 day trip is in fact going to lupe?? what's up??

We were at the Lupe in May on the Indy, although not much was happening.

The boats haven't been there much because there's not much going on.

There's also a GWS study going on that closed the island to sporties for a while, according to some scuttlebutt. Didn't get the length of the closure, but it didn't sound like a season-long thing.

But, you know how scuttlebutt goes.
