Fantastic that you are able to retire where you want.

I wish you the best of luck on that 30 pound striper.

I, like you, wouldn't mind a fresh water area. I am a former Bass tournament fisherman. BUT! One trip, a dayer to Mexico closed islands 10 yers and 2 months ago, I was screwed.

Chasing GIANT Tuna and wahoo ruined me. It was like shoving a long range needle into my arm.

So, Good luck in your quest for the 30 pound striper.

lol. i have seen the BRAID blade runners used at silverwood.

the stripers are big out there , and they do act and feed like yellowtails. THE BOILS, FEEDING FRENZY, FAST LURES ZIPPING THROUGH THERE FACE .LOL

I THINK THATS WHAT GOT MY ATTENTION THE MOST, FRESHWATER YELLOWTAILS.LOL

THANKS CHARK, hope to see you up there .
and this go,s to the rest of the gang.

I don't know what to say, Louie

Having spent as much time fishing frsh water as salt water (albeit on the East coast) , I still prefer the ocean.
But , on the bright side, I have had the rare pleasure of fishing side-by side with a Great Blue Heron (witin arms reach) on a local river, and I hope you can experience the same kind of peace and freedom in your retirement.
With what you know about light tackle fishing you have the potential to educate and even embarass your new fresh water friends.
As far as a fresh water board goes...
Why not put up a DodoMan board just to show some appreciation for the enthusiasm and information that Louie has brought to the Charkboards?

Thank you Louie,
Budd

First, are we going to have to call you Stripersniper instead of Dodoman?
That's a beautiful area, Louie, I wish you all happiness.
