It's time for our yearly Red Rooster III 10 day charter. So, the I'm history for a few days. Sounds like the big fish have yet to move into that range, but there have been some nice grade yellowfin and wahoo around. Last year produced record setting tuna catches. But my hopes are high for some 'hoo.

Last night the wife and I watched The Perfect Storm along with son once trick-or-treating was accomplished (with great success). Great movie! If you haven't watched if for a couple years I can sure recommend it. It ties in with Halloween pretty well too since that's the time of year the storms came together.

We'll post a report and some pictures as soon as I get back.

Hoping for calm seas and hungry fish!

Great Stuff!

The fishing was often tough but Cptn Andy and the boys did their usual best effort to put us on to fish.

Had a blast, as always, and finally broke the long bad luck streak with the hoo. I did have a real nice hoo cut off by some one (that will remain unnamed Big Grin) but still went 2 for 3 on the them. The dodo's were thick and fun but the cows were on another pasture this year. Several nice YT for others but only small fish for me. It's cold up here so fish prossessing will go well.

I did it, I admit it, blame it on me, that's all I'm good for, I WISH I was there to do it!! Roll Eyes I am amazed at how easy it really is to burn through tight line. "SNAP!".

The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and a good report makes the bones healthy.

Yup, I felt the line dragging and then nothing. Oh well, that's fishing.
