Mark,
Most of the late arival was due to me making the order late. Once Beth got on it, she made me add a new MX to the order, things went fast.

Mike, If you remember, I'm not all that bright and Beth showed me a shiny blue reel. SOLD!

Actualy I've been wanting to pick up an MXJ for some time and the price was right.

Things will get better as the new emploies get further up the learning curve and Beth is only a phone call away. When I added the reel to my order the boys in the warehouse stuck it with the hooks I'd ordered a few days before so everything got here at the same time.

Yep, a gal's (er, a guy too?) got to be careful about the consumption of those things...

We received a nice email this morning I couldn't help but share:
To: The Owner(s) of Charkbait and specifically to the boss of Beth and any others who helped get my order shipped today.

The purpose of this e-mail is to thank you for the great service provided to me today by Beth, and all the others that worked with Beth to get my order pulled and shipped today.

In my business I work constantly to instill in my staff a genuine concern about our customers needs and to do what is necessary to provide what our customers need, when they need it. When I placed the order for a new reel and some other items yesterday I knew it would be cutting it close to get the shipment before my next fishing trip at the end of next week. I have only placed one prior order to Charkbait and didn’t have the background with your firm needed to know if your staff could get the shipment done in time. I called to see if I could get my order moving along faster than ordinary. I didn’t get the name of the person I spoke with (it was probably Beth) but she agreed to do what she could to move it along to get it to me in time (that phone call was made yesterday just after I placed the order). Today I received an e-mail from Beth. A little e-mail dialog ensued, she quickly understood what I needed, and she cared about what I needed (or if she didn’t really care, she behaved like she did and I greatly appreciate it). She hoped to have the order shipped on Monday and I offered to pay the cost to overnight it; however, instead of making that necessary, she got my order done and shipped today. I know she had help getting it done, but she was the “point” person and she did exactly what I had hoped she would do.

It is important to me that as a customer I am reasonable; I knew that I was really pushing that issue with my request and that the request was really somewhat unreasonable. I was a little embarrassed making the request for a rush, but I had hope. My failure to plan was putting stress on others, I apologize for doing so. Beth and your other staff members provided service to me that was way above and beyond what is ordinarily found in our market. I am very appreciative of what Beth and others did today to get my order out. Thank you.

(Now I just hope that the fish cooperate and so many fish are caught with my new reel that it gets worn out on this trip and requires a replacement before the next one in September.J)

Seriously, If I know you have a deadline, I'll do what ever I need to do to make your trip go off easily. I know I would hate to be in a last minute stress time cause I just realized I needed stuff! I'm only a phone call away!

Never a prob with Charkbait delivery. I've always ordered 10-14 days ahead of the time I need the gear and received it within 5-7 days. I'm 1200 miles away from them.

My butt is still warm from the last therapy session with Mistress Beth....Wink talk about hot crossed buns.....

But I have always had great service from the Chark crew--no complaints. If yo uhave a trip coming up, let them know. They will move heaven and earth to get it to you.

I had stopped in to have a case full of reels to re-spool and top shots put on. This is after 7 1/2 hours driving down from Northern Cal from 2:30 am--and rushing to get to Sandy Eggo!

Mark had the reels sorted, tagged, stripped, re-spooled, and top shotted while I stretched out and re-energize with a 1/2 gallon of Redbull.

Service is always their highest priority and I am never dissappointed.

Get that black leather and rubber rod belt holder.....I GOT IT! The next great Chrakbait item.........The Mistress Beth Rod and Belt system. Eeker

Instead of a Braid rod belt and plate....we ought to have them made of some black rubberized nylon strap. Then we put those steel studs on the belt. The rod plate can be covered in black rubberized material with more steel studs. Same with the down straps....We can have the Lash Model, the Whip model, the Pain Threshold model, the Miserable Worm model....

wow, that would sell like hotcakes......

I'd buy one right now.....How about it, Beth? You'll get a cut of the percentage---you will be the Elvira of the Fishing World!
