NICE NORTHERN! In fact, it's bigger than the two musky I caught many years ago on the Flambeu River in Wisconsin or any of the "large" pike we caught in the Atakoken, Ontario area in the early 70's.

I'm a bit slow and didn't figure SDTuna and South Dakota went together until I saw the photo. Do you target walleye too?

Yes love to catch walleye pike my best is from Black River falls Wisconsin fishing for Musky with a buctail spinner. 30" over 10#...thought it was a musky for sure til we got it in the net.

SDTuna = San Diego Tuna as I lived in SC = San Clemente from 1998 to 2001 when I met up with MS. He got me on the overnight boats trhen 1.5 to 5 day trips.

Left California for Montana and now Colorado.

SD,
That is one serious Northern Pike. Did anyone ever get a weight on it. Have been to the Chippawa Flowage in Wisconsis a couple of times Musky fishing and never saw a live one that big. Saw plenty of wall hangers in the 60 lb range but nothing swimming that big.

It definetely classifies as "COW"
