Going on a 15 day in January on the Intrepid. I think I've got my fishing gear, clothes, and personal items taken care of... what else should I bring ?? you know what I mean,, somebody breaks out something and you say "crap" I wished I brought some of that???
A folding chair, the type that fold up into a tubular shape, for non fishing days. Also a few good books and something to listen to music on like a MP3 player.
Good points from SoCal, on a charter a few years ago one of our clients brought along a dozen bottles of the best darn BBQ sauce I've ever had. That brightened everyone's dinner aboard the boat. So, I'd say something to share would be a good one. Another client brought along a small audio sat system. That was a nice one to have out there on deck... For myself, a couple books is always a good idea. Catching up on my reading is something enjoyable when not fishing on travel days. A small handheld chartplotter ain't bad either.
