On December 7, 2006 25 miles off the coast of Panama a boat out of the Tropic Star lodge carried a camera man to a floating log. While filming the sea life congregated at the log, a 480lb Blue Marlin become aggressive with him. The man felt his safety was endanger and shot the Marlin.
