Hello, i'm thinking about making a Disney trip into a opportunity to do some fishing next week while down south. anybody know a good captain that will put us on fish? live bait and or plastics, 1/2 day trip inshore with rental gear etc. really don't want to bring any of my gear unless i have to. Thanks
I live on Balboa Island and fish a few times a year on the Nautilus out of Newport Landing w/ Captain Robbie. He is an extremely hard working captain. I know they have been doing very well on the sand bass and barracuda so best of luck if you decide to jump on a boat.
hey thanks for reply. question i think i'll at least bring one set up. what size set up do i bring i was thinking of bringing my 8.6 rated at 12-20lb / 6500 abu loaded with 15 pound test.sound like i'm in the ball park??? tnanks again
IMHO 1/2 days are not worth it with the cost of a trip, parking, and fuel surcharge. Instead, the Freelance out of Davey's would be my choice. It is a 3/4 day with a great crew.
Another good boat if you don't mind the drive, is the Pursuit out of 22nd Street landing. But, it is a "full day"
The pier is always a better place when time and all around interest is short. And no lisences required and there will be HOTT CHICKS , Just like at DISNEYLAND DADDY !!!
