I will be going to catalina on a small boat Oct 8 9 10. Where is the best bet around the island for fishing this time of year?

Pretty early to make a guess about October 9/10. The V's and slide are would probably be worth checking out, and the backside if conditions allow.

If those don't work, there is always Luau Larrys. No fish, but after a couple o mai tai's you won't care.
