We will be leaving on a private Charter out of H&M landing Friday night to fish for TUNA Saturday Sept 29th.

Uniqueness of this trip is we're spooling up with 10 pound line. Everyone fills their reel on the boat off the same spool. We've done this before and it was a blast. The fish will be whatever size they will be. It's just a matter of how long will it take before coming to gaff.

Anyone ever do this before (besides me)?

sound like fun, rumor of large bluefins in the offshore area, hard to catch though.

i fished the 15lb w/ 700xl 525gs on the wide open albies years ago, it was a blast.

the fish ranged from 20 to 30 at first,then the bigger 30 to 50 showed up. it was time to put the rod away.lol

I've never seen everyone on the boat go that light, but one of my buddies went down to 10# during a WFO bite one the Thetis bank. He landed one and put it away, he was on that fish a looooong time.
