Sorry for a late report here, most trip info for our two recent Eclipse Charters were posted elsewhere on the website, linked through the Pic of the Week.

I've got to give credit to Mark and crew. The boat combines the feel of a long ranger and the overnight style quite nicely. Excellent crew, very nice fishing platform, knowledgeable skipper and the food is very good, too!

Trip 1 - Rockfish trip in mid-April. Wonderful trip down to Colonet for a mix of ling cod and reds. THis was the best ling bite I've enjoyed with probably 100+ lings landed. The vermilion reds were great size.

Trip 2 - Exploratory...we searched for tuna on the first day, found some bonito and one kelp paddy loaded with small grade yellowtail. We were probably one week early...the tuna will come, water conditions and bait are all favorable. Hit the Coronados on the second day for much better grade yellowtail and some very good quality calico bass.

Great Stuff!
Mark
