Just in from a 1 1/2 days trip on the Pacific Queen out of Fishermans Landing, San Deigo.

Excellent fishing is all I can say mostly kelp oriented fish Yellowtail, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna and a couple of nice better grade Albacore.
Fish ranged sizes 8lbs to 25lbs and the albies were 30+.

We went about 80 down and fished a five mile area for 170 fish or so. Small sardine for bait so if you're heading down for a trip take some small hooks #1 or 1/0 worked great and 20-25 lb. test was the ticket.

Well that's the story and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks Bill Cavangh and the crew for a great trip.

Good luck and fish hard all!
