However, the early season bite is a little slow from the reports trickling in.

There were bites and some limits taken and the fish were reported to be plugged with anchovies so there appears to be a lot of bait right now.

The North wind is still blowing and the ocean has not settled down as much as the smaller boats would like yet but it will, and the signs we see indicate a good season with lots of big fat salmon.

So far the season is kinda sucky, ocean is still lumped and the northerlies are still blowing. There have been some fish taken but it's still spotty, still lots of bait being reported which is good news.

Not enough guys can get out yet to do the scouting and find the big concentrations of fish.
