Making Humboldt bay safe for bait one halibut at a time
Jan, I missed this one. Opah, you got to be pulling my leg! A couple years ago a fellow caught one seven miles off Huntington Beach in about 300' of water. That was something I'd never heard of before, water was unusually warm and the dorado were thick that summer. So, I guess anything can happen - if you put the time in.
