I've got straight 50 on that 30 narrow but if you are going to fish Mako's before the tuna season then keep the 80 on it . You could do the 300 yrd braid backing thing with a large topshot and change from 60 to 80 top shots like I do on my Avet . I only can get down to the dock on Sundays or when I'm working . I may have a gap the night of the 28th before the Seabass trip if we get out .

the guy at reel life told me the same thing about doing the top shot.Thats probaly what I'm going to do.I picked up a seeker rod for it today but it only has 2 roller guides on it,it's rated up to 100lb.all I need now is some bait...
