Russel , good to see you at the dock . Sorry I didn't bring the reels . I think the T-
rex is overkill for what you are using it for . Dee has the Avet 30 and it's a winch . Keep in mind that If it's a big Mako you should use the boat to follow it so Line capacity isn't that much of an issue . As far as killing a Mako dragging the fish works or a brain stab when the fish is subdued . Makos are the Bad Boys of the Oceans and no two are the same . No bangsticks or Shotguns allowed in Tournament Play . I'll be back down at the dock again Sunday and bring my stuff for you to pull on . Cav. , I'll let you all know when I find out if we are changing gears to Bottom fishing as soon as I find out .I hope that we are not because there are still fish there .

the Seabass fishing has been good . Bob is taking her out for another trip tonight to fish Thursday . I didn't get the "call" again so I guess I'll sit in port and go to my regular job . I dumped seven totes of racks from last Saturdays trip when we cleared the one mile marker Sunday . I don't think that they will go Saturday due to weather Offshore . Are you going to try and go on one ?

thanks for bringing the avet down today, the 2 speed is the way to go.I can't wait to get one. That wraps up my striper season,I'm done till the spring run.I threw in the towel.I brought back the tsunami and exchange it for a tica with no questions asked, you can't beat that for the pole being over a year old.I want to check out one of bob's sea bass trips before they end or it gets to cold to think.Do you know of any good places to purchase charts with wreck locations on it?
