Hey guys. Long time visitor but first time poster and relative noob here. I bought a Daiwa BG50 and was about to pair it with a Seeker Black Steel 6470 then decided against doing so. I have a few Seeker rods and want to try a Calstar for this reel. What would be recommended for it? It's spooled 65# braid with a 40# fluoro leader. Thanks for reading.

Is this primarily going to be a live bait rig for you? Jigging? Where are you located and what style of fishing, private boat, long range? Before hazarding a suggestion, a bit more info will help point us in the right direction.
