Looking to do some trips between 2-10 days over the next year, have not made any west coast trips and am new to this fishing.

I am considering the getting Andros reel, deciding between the 5, the 12 or the 12n. Also looking for rod recommendation.

look at the AA Topwater 50. Built to Charkbait specs and great action. (but I don't like red)
