It depends on how you will be fishing. If you are fishing live bait or jigs, you'll probably want to put the braid on as backing and then add the appropriate weight mono on top. Be sure to put a few wraps of sticky tape or mono next to the spool so that the braid doesn't slip, and then put it on with as much pressure as possible. If you are bottom fishing, put mono on the spool an then the braid on top. Braid is great for both fishing because it has no stretch.
